Privacy Statement

Information we collect
Information you provide. When you complete our Know Your Customer questionnaire or contact us, we collect business details such as company registration, ownership and banking relationship, and personal details about named individuals, including names, titles, nationality, business contact information and, during later document review, copies of government-issued identification.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers record basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when you visit.
How we use information
- To evaluate and onboard counterparties, including identity, sanctions, anti-money-laundering and adverse-media screening
- To negotiate, perform and administer contracts
- To comply with legal, tax, customs and regulatory obligations
- To respond to inquiries and requests
- To protect our business and counterparties against fraud and impersonation
How we share information
We share information only as needed for the purposes above, with:
- Identity verification and sanctions screening providers
- Banks and trade finance institutions involved in a transaction
- Inspection, terminal and logistics partners, where required to perform a contract
- Our parent company, Market Trade Group LLC, and our professional advisers
- Government authorities and law enforcement, where required by law
We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
We keep onboarding and transaction records for as long as the business relationship lasts and for the period required by law afterward. Due diligence records are generally retained for at least five years after a relationship ends.
We protect information with administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted transmission and restricted access. Because we operate internationally, information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our partners are located.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access or correct information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. To make a request, contact compliance@mtgplatform.com.
